Forrest View Homeowners Association

(Board Meeting Minutes: February 13, 2008)
(
6 p.m. Franconia Township Municipal Building)

Board Members:
Present: Carol Hampson, President and Jennifer Sautter, Treasurer

Absent:  RitaJean Joyce, Vice-President, Michael Palmer, Contract Manager

Proceedings:

Meeting called to order at 6:17 p.m. by Carol Hampson, President.

Call for new Board of Directors Members:

Two current members will be stepping down from their position on the Board.

Three homeowners have expressed interest in becoming a member of the Board of Directors for FVHOA.  The homeowners are Anthony Catania, Ryan Wimmer, and RJ Herd, who were all nominated by Dennis Conlen.

A letter will be sent out to all homeowners to vote the new members onto the Board.  All homeowners with up-to-date and current with their association dues will be eligible for voting.  Delinquent homeowners will not be eligible to vote.  Homeowners will be able to vote either by mail or via the FVHOA website.  We are anticipating to have the finally tally by the end of the next month.

In addition to the new Board Members interest.  Some homeowners have volunteered for the following positions:

Dennis Conlen will be our appointed contact with FVHOA contractors.

Anthony Catania will be our Webmaster for the website.  www.forrestview.org

Mori Lee Catania will be taking the minutes at the FVHOA meetings.

Also, a special thanks to Ryan Wimmer for posting signs throughout our development and others for your help and expertise, and making our community even better.

Finance Committee Report provided Jennifer Sautter, Treasurer:

Please see the updated FVHOA Profit & Loss report on the FVHOA website.

New 2008 annual association dues were mailed to homeowners and will be due on or before March 31, 2008.

The concern of delinquent association dues (approx. $1,700 are outstanding) has brought forth the need to hire an attorney.   Patrick McMenamin, Esquire has been hired by retainer.  Mr. McMenamin was called on by FVHOA for other various legal matters in the past.  He has drafted letters to the delinquent homeowners regarding their outstanding dues and fees.  It is quite IMPORTANT that all homeowners remain current with their dues, not to cause an increase to future association dues.  Homeowners who are current with their dues are greatly appreciated.

Township Updates:  (provided via telephone from Jamie Worman, Assistant Township Manager)

Forrest Meadow- has received Grants for the Phase I, which includes storm drains, parking lot, walking trail, trees along the trail, and a graded and seeded all purpose field.

A pavilion will be constructed and completed by Fall 2008, which will be available for rental in following Spring.  Reservations will be taken by the Twp office.  No rental charge to Township residents!

Other Issues:

Dumping still remains to be a problem in our community.  All dumping in open space areas is prohibited (i.e. dumping of grass clippings, landscaping debris, or disposing of old Christmas trees, etc.)  Forrest View homeowners are asked to report any illegal dumping to any Board member, especially if you can identify the homeowner so that a notification can be sent to anyone who is caught dumping.

Meeting adjourned at 7:00 p.m.
